Monier, one of RUMM’s most long established customers, recently won an environment award in a business category hosted by Blaenau Gwent Council.

The annual celebration of all things green has taken place as the borough recognised its eco-residents.

Blaenau Gwent council was the first in Wales to introduce the Environment Awards and it has quickly become a permanent fixture on the calendar.

DBLO have commercial architects who offer office refurbishment, interiors and furniture design, reception area construction and more.  A recent client: Spotlight Casting Directories.

The commercial architects did the following:

The first floor was designed to create three large, purpose-built casting studios, with an associated ‘green-room’ for studio users, an extensive waiting area & reception space.  All the elements of the space were designed by DBLO associates including the reception desk, furniture & internet access wall.  When it came to the third floor, the existing cellular offices was reconfigured to appear as open plan while accommodating three different departments, with a centralised print & graphics zone.

A power failure yesterday at one of BT’s major exchanges was causing huge ADSL issues all over the UK for the most part of the day.
